Boulder Valley IPA is now offering the following services in addition to
contracting and credentialing to its members:
Centralized Referral/Pre-certification Processing: Boulder Valley IPA will process all of your practice’s referrals and pre-certifications, including set up and training on the IPA’s system, processing of the request, verification of eligibility, transmittal back to member office. The fees for these services are charged on a transactional basis.
24 Hour Blood Pressure Monitors : Boulder Valley IPA has a 24 Hour Blood Pressure Monitor available by prescription from member physicians. The patient receives the monitor from the IPA and drops it off at the IPA the following day. The results are transmitted to the referring physician. The cost is $15 per patient.
Practice Assessments : Boulder Valley IPA will analyze your office’s financial and production data and conduct comparisons to national medians. Areas covered in the report include physician production and compensation, overhead expenses and revenue, staffing, and accounts receivable and collections.
Fee Audit Schedules : Boulder Valley IPA will provide member offices with a Fee Schedule of requested codes showing reimbursement levels for all of the BVIPA contracts. The fee for this service is an annual fee of $100 per physician in the practice up to a maximum of $400. This fee will include updates to the fee schedule for one year.
Physician Compensation Plan Design/Redesign : Boulder Valley IPA can help design/redesign your practice’s method of allocating income among the physicians.
Physician Buy In/Out Formulas and Agreements : Boulder Valley IPA can assist in developing formulas for the buy in of new physicians and the buy out of retiring physicians. We can also assist with the drafting of physician employment agreements.
Staffing : Boulder Valley IPA will also help physician offices who are looking to fill office staff positions.
Bookkeeping : General ledger, accounts payable and general bookkeeping services.
